On the job you will:

• Prepare and cook a quality range of meals with pride and attention to dietary requirements of residents
• Ensuring tasks are performed in accordance with approved procedures and quality requirements.
• Work collaboratively with others and independently to deliver exceptional food service
• Liaise with suppliers and supervisors regarding kitchen requirements
• Maintain accurate kitchen records and assist with stock control
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in food preparation, hygiene, and infection control principles.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working as a commercial Cook in large scale catering, Aged Care preferred
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or similar and current Food Safety certificate or ability to obtain
• National Police Check or willingness to obtain
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for caring for older Australians
• Valid Working Rights in Australia (No sponsorship is available sorry)
• Current Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and up-to-date vaccinations (including flu and COVID-19)
